We had a fantastic time at Bonawe House! The cottage was clean and comfortable, and its close proximity to the Columba's Way trail made it a convenient stop for our road trip. The owner was incredibly helpful, providing us with valuable information about our planned route out of town. The peaceful location, surrounded by beautiful trees and flowers, added to the charm of our stay. We especially enjoyed waking up to the stunning view and having coffee in the morning. The cottage's excellent location near Oban and the lakes made it the perfect base for exploring the area. We appreciated being able to cook our own meals and the detailed directions provided by the hosts were incredibly helpful. we had a wonderful experience and hope to visit again soon!

We had an amazing time at Bonawe House. The location was perfect for exploring Oban and Glen Coe, and having a car was a must. The property itself was peaceful, with a quiet courtyard and beautiful surroundings. The kitchen had everything we needed, and the bed was incredibly comfy. The automatic nightlight was a genius touch, and the information folder was the most comprehensive we've ever seen. We felt lucky to have stayed here and hope to return soon.

A beautiful setting to explore with helpful suggestions from the hosts. At the heart of a friendly community, close to stunning scenery and countryside. Appreciated the use of eco cleaning products and sustainable power for heating.
The drive up from the village is a little rough in the dark.

The views from the property were breathtaking, with beautiful scenery of fields, a loch, and mountains. The location at the end of the road added to the peaceful and secluded atmosphere. There were plenty of walking trails in all directions, perfect for nature lovers. The cottage itself was well-maintained and clean, with a comfortable bed and a well-equipped kitchen. The availability of a TV and DVD player with a wide selection of movies was a nice touch for evenings spent indoors. it was a great choice for a romantic anniversary getaway.
One minor downside was the mattress in the master bedroom which could have been more comfortable. It may be worth considering an upgrade or alternative options for guests with sensitive backs.

We arrived at the charming cottage and were greeted warmly by the friendly host. The location, nestled in a picturesque countryside setting, offered stunning views of the sunset across the water. The three-bedroom apartment comfortably accommodated our family of five, with spacious bedrooms and a well-equipped kitchen featuring new appliances and plenty of counter space. We enjoyed the ample hot water and the comfortable beds with good bedding. The added bonus of chickens and sheep in the field below added to the rustic charm of our stay.
The mattresses in the master bedroom were slightly uncomfortable, leading to some discomfort after seven days.
